Aumann added “The company draws up an annual strategic marketing plan that includes promotional visits to ship owners, shipping and ship management companies in addition to participating in international ship repair and maritime exhibitions to introduce ODC services as a world-class shiprepair yard”. “Only the squeaky wheel gets the grease!” Aumann said. Worth mentioning that ODC is in possession of a vast area of 1.3 million square meters in Duqm and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including two ULCC class graving docks (410m x 95m, 410m x 80m; 600.000 tDW), five quays with a length of 2,800 m and a water depth of 9-10 meters, 14 units of jib crane with lifting capacity of 40 ton up to 100 ton, a slop and sludge treatment facility including slop tanks to store 10,000 cubic meters, five workshops covering outfitting, electrical works, machinery, hulls, blasting and painting and cryogenics.
ODC’s impressing facility is not only serving superior ship repair and conversion services but also engineering and construction for any kind of on- and offshore structures, the repairs and refurbishments of Jack-Up platforms and Port Repair & On Voyage services (PROVS) in and around the ports and anchorage places in the Sultanate of Oman.
